Subversion

I have finally figured it out… I am sorry it took so long, but I finally figured it out. I now know why President Bush does not want to get tough on immigration.

It has little to do with being called a racist, or offending illegal aliens, or of being called mean. It has little to do with being popular or winning votes. The Bush we know doesn’t care if he makes people angry to do the right thing. The Bush we know doesn’t care about polls, or if he is called names, or if he is popular, and so on. However, it may well be that we don't know Bush very well after all. So where does that leave us? The answer is far scarier, far more horrible, and far more devious than anyone… even liberals… could imagine: Subversion.

In March 2005 President Bush met with President Vicente Fox of Mexico, and Prime Minister Paul Martin of Canada (link). This meeting was to establish the “Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPPNA) in which a joint statement was released. The three sighted the organization would be “based on the principle that our security and prosperity are mutually dependent and complementary, and will reflect our shared belief in freedom, economic opportunity, and strong democratic values and institutions.

Essentially what is going on here is this: Bush, Fox, and Martin are trying to establish an American version of the European Union. What this essentially means is that instead of being the United States of America, we would be the United States of the Americas. Shared borders, shared laws, and shared currency, perhaps an AU (American Union) Constitution, and so on. The fears that conservatives have had that the US is losing its sovereignty is well founded. Here is a testimonial found on the US Senate web site (link) by the Vice Chairman of the CFR Task Force that produced the report titled “Building a North American Union”.

Now that we know the truth we cannot sit idly by and allow this to happen. Do we really want to model ourselves after Europe? The greatness of the US was in its independence and its way of say “F-U” to conventional wisdom and European “progressive” thought.

It is a bitter pill to swallow, but it seems that the National Guard, and Fox’s reaction to it is in fact (as stated in my post of the same name) Smoke and Mirrors; a show put on for our amusement while the leaders of the US, Canada, and Mexico sell our independence and sovereignty down the sewer.

Smoke and Mirrors!

Monday President Bush spoke to the Nation about immigration. In his speech he declared he would send the National Guard to the border, but give them no teeth; he would continue with his amnesty-quest; and he wants the senate to pass watered down, touchy-feely legislation. The President then went on to discuss how we are a Nation of Immigrants and how we must continue that tradition.

WE ARE ALL AWARE WE ARE A NATION OF IMMIGRANTS!!! What we are trying to make everyone understand is that there is a RIGHT WAY TO DO THINGS AND A WRONG WAY TO DO THINGS!!!!! The wrong way is to come here illegally!

The President then went on to remind us we are a Nation of Laws but then went on to suggest that the LAWS MEAN NOTHING. In fact, the longer you have broken the laws, apparently the easier it will be for you to achieve amnesty and citizenship.

Let me say this to all the politicians out there…
We the CITIZENS of the United States of America will settle for nothing less than the following:

1. Secure the border. Put up a wall, put up an army, link hands, do what you’ve got to do… BUT DO IT (¡Construya una pared!)!!!
2. Make English the OFFICIAL and ONLY language in the US. Make NO (which in Spanish is pronounced “NO”) accommodation for any other language (¡Aprenda a hablar inglés!).
3. DENY any access to public schools, welfare, etc. to anyone here illegally (¡No más obsequios en nuestro gasto!).
4. Make being in this Country ILLEGALLY a FELONY (¿El crimen grave, entiende?).
5. Arrest and DEPORT (deporte) all illegals you encounter (¡Mándelos en casa!).
6. Severely fine any business which knowingly hires illegal aliens (¡Fuércelos pagar fuera de su ano!)!

NO smoke NO mirrors… Do it or get voted out of office (¡Pierda su empleo inmerecido!)!

…and to Vicente Fox, NO ONE in the United States of America gives one rat’s ass if you want to sue for having the National Guard arrest those crossing the border! Why don’t you do something about your crime, corruption, and decaying economy and then maybe your people won’t be fleeing in droves. If I were you Mr. Presidente I would be ashamed of myself for allowing things to get so bad that your people feel they have to run away. ¡JODALE!

It's NOT a disease, It's a WEAKNESS!

Congressman Patrick Kennedy crashed his car, staggered out of it, claimed he was heading for a vote at 3am, and then was given 3 citations and a ride home. The next day he said he did not have any alcohol to drink… then later that day he said that he was so high on pain killers that he didn’t know what had happened at all!

The congressman then went on to say that he accepts full responsibility for his actions, yet he was not arrested for DUI and he is blaming all his woes on his “illness”… being an addict. BEING ADDICTED TO ANYTHING is NOT an illness, it is a weakness. Calling it an illness only helps you NOT take responsibility for your actions. That is the same thing as saying “I have an illness that makes my hand automatically feed me pills and booze and extra cupcakes!”

You have heard of the 12 step program… AA made it famous. Well, here is my 12 step program to taking responsibility for your actions:

The first step to taking responsibility is to say “I DID THIS!” The second step is to say “IT IS MY FAULT!” The third step is to say “I HAVE NO ONE TO BLAME BUT MYSELF!” The fourth step is to say “I AM SORRY FOR WHAT I HAVE DONE!” The fifth step is to say “I AM GOING TO DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO MAKE RESTITUTION FOR WHAT I HAVE DONE!” The sixth step is to say “I AM GOING TO DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO SEE THAT THIS NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN!” The seventh step is to say “DO NOT FEEL SORRY FOR ME, OR MAKE EXCUSES FOR ME!” The eighth step is to say “IF ANYONE CAN OFFER ME ANY HELP I AM WILLING TO ACCEPT IT!” The ninth thing to do is to DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO MAKE RESTITUTION! The tenth thing to do is to DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO SEE THAT IT NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN! The eleventh thing to do is to NOT FEEL SORRY FOR YOURSELF OR MAKE EXCUSES! The final thing to do is ACCEPT ANY HELP YOU NEED TO ACCOMPLISH ALL THE PREVIOUS STEPS!

Once these 12 steps are done, then, and only then, will you have taken responsibility for your actions.

Let’s review:

  1. Admit you did it.
  2. Admit that it is your fault.
  3. Admit that there is no one to blame but yourself.
  4. Sincerely apologize for your actions.
  5. Promise to make restitution for your actions.
  6. Promise that you will do everything in your power to never let it happen again.
  7. Tell everyone not to feel sorry for you or make excuses for you.
  8. Ask for help.
  9. Do everything in your power to make restitution.
  10. Do everything in your power to see that it never happens again.
  11. Refuse to feel sorry for yourself or make excuses.
  12. Accept the help you have asked for.

Pretty simple… now, if you can only stop your hand from conspiring against you…
